Getting started
Connect Claude Desktop to Erawan Cloud, step by step
This lesson connects the Claude app on your computer to Erawan Cloud, one step at a time, with nobody there to help. Every step has a real screenshot, and the numbers in the orange boxes match the numbers in the text. At the last step Claude reads your Erawan account back to you. When it does, you are connected.
Want a hand from the start? Erawan gets your first app online for free on Hobby and above.
Using Claude in a browser, or using ChatGPT? Each has its own guide: Claude on the web · ChatGPT Desktop · ChatGPT on the web
Before you start
- The Claude app on your computer, signed in. If you don't have it, download it from claude.ai/download.
- A paid Claude plan, Pro or above. The free plan runs out after a few tries: a little way into the work you hit the limit, and you have to wait for it to reset.
- An Erawan Cloud account. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up free on the way, at step 7.
- One empty folder for the files Claude makes. Make it now, or at step 11.
1. Open Customize
In the app's left menu, click Customize (1).

Customize sits under Design in the left menu.
2. Add a connector
- In the menu on the left, choose Connectors.
- Click + Add at the top right, then choose Add custom connector.

The connectors in the picture are blurred. Your list may well be empty.
3. Fill in the name and URL
- First box: the name Erawan Cloud.
- Second box: paste the address below.
- Click Continue.

The form has just the two boxes.
4. Keep what Claude chose, then click Add
The same window then asks how to sign in. Change nothing here: Claude has already worked it out and picked the options labelled Detected.
- Sign in now is labelled Detected. Leave it.
- Register automatically is labelled Detected. Leave it.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Add.

Leave Request headers and Advanced as they are.
5. Click Continue connecting
Your browser opens a claude.ai page asking Finish connecting a connector? You started this from the app yourself, so click Continue connecting (1).

This page is there to stop someone tricking you into connecting with a link.
6. Click Sign in and connect
Next comes Erawan's connect page, asking whether to connect Claude. Click Sign in and connect (1). The pictures show Erawan's pages in Thai; the buttons are in the same places in English.

The page also says it will take you back to claude.ai when you are done.
Don't click Connect without an account (struck through in the picture). It isn't tied to your account, and anything you make that way is deleted within 24 hours.
If your browser is already signed in to Erawan, this page and step 7 don't appear, and you go straight to step 8.
7. Sign in, or sign up
- With a Google account: click Continue with Google.
- Or with LINE: click Continue with LINE. You can type an email and password below instead.
- No account yet: click Create an account. It is free, and when you finish you come back to the connect page by yourself.

Any one of these is enough.
8. Check the account, then click Connect
- Check that the account shown is yours. If it isn't, click Use another account.
- Click Connect.

The name and email are blurred here. Yours will show your account.
Don't click the “or connect without an account” link under the button either.
9. Click Open Claude
Your browser goes back to claude.ai, shows Connected, and asks Open Claude? Click Open Claude (1) to go back to the app.

If this window doesn't appear, close the tab and open the Claude app yourself.
10. Start a new Project
To work with files on your computer, Claude needs a Project tied to a folder. The website files Claude makes for you are kept in that folder.
- Under the box you type in, click Project or folder.
- Choose New project.

The project names in the picture are blurred.
11. Name it, then choose a folder
- What are you working on?: a name none of your projects has yet, for example AI Coding.
- Click Use a folder.
- Choose Choose a different folder, then pick the empty folder you made.

You can skip What are you trying to achieve?
Choose an empty folder, not the whole Desktop or Documents folder: Claude can read and change every file in the folder you choose.
12. Click Always allow
Claude asks to change files in the folder you chose. Click Always allow (1) so it doesn't ask every time.

The window shows the name of the folder you chose.
13. Click Create project
- Check that the Folder box shows the folder you chose.
- Click Create project.

Your folder's path will be different from the one in the picture.
14. Ask it to read your account
- Check that the top right shows your folder's name.
- Type the message below and send it.
- It should show Used Erawan Cloud, followed by your Erawan account.
In English, “Use Erawan Cloud to read my account” works the same.

An answer like this means you are set up.
If Claude asks permission to use an Erawan Cloud tool, allow it. From now on, use this Project on this computer. You don't need to set anything up again.
If you get stuck
- Claude acts as if it doesn't know Erawan. Open a new chat in the same Project. A chat opened before you added the connector can't see Erawan.
- No Erawan sign-in page. Your browser remembers your Erawan account, so it goes straight to the confirm page at step 8. Check it is your account before you click Connect.
- Connected the wrong account. Sign in to console.erawan.cloud with the wrong account, go to Integration → Connected agents, and click Disconnect on Claude's row. Then remove Erawan Cloud from Claude's Connectors page and start again at step 2, and on the confirm page click Use another account.
- No + Add button on the Connectors page. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of the organisation adds it, under Organization settings → Connectors.
- It says you have hit the limit. Your plan's quota is used up. Wait for it to reset, or upgrade your plan.
